And to you sweet thing xx
Thank you, Adullamite. Hope you're feeling better. Merry Christmas.xxx
What a neat calendar.I made a peace symbol once, out of wood, at the Sandia Base woodshop at Albuquerque when it was illegal even to have one on your car (I had one on the goat!!) Turns out the military was against peace -- not good for business, or advancement.Hope your holidays are happy as a puppy with bubbles . . . ~
Goat? Goatman? Gama-Goat by any chance?Oh yes, the Military and Peace. Our New-Speak turned the "War Office" into the "Ministry of Defence". The Ministry of Defence wages war, whilst the war office was striving to end one.
Soub:Nope, just a 4 wheeler -- 389 cubic inch four on the floor, 4 barrel rochester carb '65 Pontiac GTO with wing windows and chrome valve covers. Bought it for $1200 and sold it years later for $4000 with over 300,000 miles. Got tired of the rust and repairs but it was a runner.
Ahem, gentlemen! This is a post about peace and merriment. Which I wish for both of you in the new year!xxx
Merry Christmas Everybody!~Dave
Hey, Mule, we was only jes' exchanging words at the back of the barn. Sheesh. 'bout neat things too. Mussel cars an' the like; without mussels you gets no pearls.
And I should have remembered, he's explained where he got his name long ago. If I was let loose in a car like that, it would end nastily in twisted metal and blood. When I was eighteen, I was invulnerable, now I'm made of bits that go ouch when bashed. No more foot to the floor and damn the consequences these days.
Hi Dave!Merry Christmas to you!!xxx
Soubry ~ Mussels and pearls are fine. Talk of war is not. This is a peaceful mission statement. Yes, Santa will NOT be bringing a bad boy such as yourself a 4 barrel rochester carb '65 Pontiac GTO with wing windows and chrome valve covers. Especially as you have plans to hi-jack the dear ole girl this year and thrust her into a cold shower !!xxx
The book-tree is cute.
