"Those who love you are not fooled by mistakes you have made or dark images you hold about yourself. They remember your beauty when you feel ugly; your wholeness when you are broken; your innocence when you feel guilty; and your purpose when you are confused."
~ Alan Cohen "They're Singing Your Song"

A few of them still seem to have a few doubts about me. I catch those puzzled glances...

I am confused most of the time -- hope there is purpose somewhere under there.
I guess everyone needs purpose even if its only to make another happy.

Adullamite - HAHAHAHA! Are you sure you would consider them Loved Ones ???

Cosmo ~ now you are just being MODEST!

Goatman ~ well yes, a life's purpose is rather difficult and nebulous to define. The quote probably reads better if you read the story behind it in the link which tells of an African tradition of discovering an unborn child's song and the important times during his life that the village gathers together to sing his song to him.
