Max crowned King of the Wild Things ...

and please, please, please, read the post below on remembering Maurice Sendak.  He was a wonderful author and illustrator who inspired generations to channel their inner wild things!

I was in court today.

A friend said "I hope you don't get arrested"

"If I do, will you give me a character reference?"

"But you have so many characters!"

"Ok, will you give me a theatre review?"

RDG - been catching up on your posts. You're a Wild Thing yourself. It's what my post grad group called ourselves when we were getting our MFAs in VT. There's a fellow that comes to the Open Mic Poets night I read at that stands before us all and recites from memory Tony Hoagland poems. You'd have loved his performance of the one you posted!

Read it the other day but had no comment. I'm not familiar with the book but I'm buying it for Donald's birthday in a few weeks on your recommendation. I cant wait to hear my boy read it to me!
